Beautiful Bend Oregon
One of the West’s fastest growing small cities, Bend, Oregon is a mecca for those in search of an active, outdoor-oriented lifestyle.
Surrounded by national forests and vast swaths of public lands, Bend offers abundant outdoor recreation, including one of the country’s largest collections of single-track mountain biking trails and perhaps the nation’s longest downhill ski season at nearby Mt. Bachelor. Oregon’s largest ski area typically gets its season started around Thanksgiving and wraps up after Memorial Day weekend, often re-opening for a Fourth of July bash. And it’s not uncommon for locals to start their day with a few laps at “Bachy” before settling into their workday.
